OBJECT 004.
A study in reclaimed material, imperfection, and form.
Created from sterling silver scrap collected through the making process, OBJECT 004. was melted, reworked, and fabricated by hand into a sculptural pinky ring. The elongated form follows the finger like a piece of molded silver armor, while fractures, irregularities, and traces of its previous state remain visible across the surface.
Rather than removing every imperfection, the material is allowed to document the transformation becoming its own object.
Each mark is part of the process. Each irregularity remains intentional.
